1956 saw our second production of Shakespeare's 'Henry VIII' take to the stage at the Derby Railway Institute.

The production featured original music - 'Orpheus With His Lute' - composed for the society by E. D. Marsden, a regular performer and musical director with us, who composed music for several of our productions around this time.

We hope to be able to add more information and photographs from this production soon.
