'The Taming Of The Shrew'

Railway Institute

14th - 19th February 1955

L. H. Titmuss

This enduringly popular play had already been presented by the company four times by the time L. H. Titmuss produced this 1955 showing at the Railway Institute, then our regular venue.

At this time the company was still known as the British Empire Shakespeare Society (Derby Branch), as it had been since its formation in 1908.

We hope to be able to add more information and photographs from this production soon.
