'Measure For Measure'

venue

Guildhall

Dates

15th - 19th January 1974

Director

Michael Kirk

Michael Kirk directed this production for us at the Guildhall in 1974. Though this was the first time the Derby Shakespeare Society had ever produced 'Measure For Measure' a traditional production style was abandoned in favour of a more modern setting, chosen to reflect the modern nature of the themes of the play.

It would be over 20 years before we performed the play a second time in 1996.

We hope to be able to add more information and photographs from this production soon.
