'The Venetian Twins'
by Carlo Goldoni, adapted by Ranjit Bolt

venue

Elvaston Castle

Dates

8th - 13th July 1996

Director

Simon McLinden

This wild and wonderful production of Carlo Goldoni's uproarious farce 'The Venetian Twins' brought all the style and madness of 1970s style to the grounds of Elvaston Castle in the summer of 1996.

Turning the clock back twenty years with flares, space hoppers and glam-rock platform heels this was a show full of cross-dressing swagger and fun.

Simon McLinden directed a cast who were game for anything as they zig-zagged through Goldoni's tale of mayhem and mistaken identity.
